No. https://mcp.lastscanned.com is a hosted remote Streamable HTTP MCP server (MCP protocol 2025-03-26). You connect directly by URL without spawning local subprocesses.
How do I authenticate if my MCP client does not support custom HTTP headers?
Pass your API key directly in the URL path: https://mcp.lastscanned.com/lsk_live_YOUR_API_KEY. Both lsk_live_ subscription keys and lsk_pack_ prepaid keys are accepted in the URL path or Authorization: Bearer header.
Can an autonomous AI agent pay per lookup without creating an account?
Yes. https://api.lastscanned.com supports the Stripe Machine Payments Protocol (HTTP 402 Payment Required) on Tempo mainnet at $0.005 USDC per lookup via AgentCash or any MPP client.
