API pricing & quota FAQ

How does lastscanned count quotas when my app or AI agent re-polls the same tracking number multiple times?
On the Pro plan ($4.99/mo for 1,000 unique tracking numbers, then $0.015 per extra unique number), quota is billed per unique (carrier, trackingNumber) pair per monthly billing period. Re-polling an already-tracked number 5 or 50 times in the same month costs $0.
Why does 17TRACK's synchronous API cost 10× more quotas than its webhook API?
17TRACK's standard gettrackinfo endpoint requires registering the number first and waiting for an async crawl. Their synchronous getRealTimeTrackInfo endpoint deducts 10 tracking quotas per call and blocks USPS (21051), DHL eCommerce US (7047), Royal Mail (11031), and Australia Post (1151).
What if my traffic is seasonal or I am running an autonomous AI agent?
You can buy a $0.50 credit pack (25 lookups that never expire) or pay $0.02 USDC per request over HTTP 402 (Stripe Machine Payments Protocol) with zero account signup.
